Phew, I’m done re-posting all the relevant posts from my other blogs. I also added a tag cloud, Disqus (for commenting) and share buttons. Design-wise, the site is mostly done. I just need to catch up with the news and post some recent items. Then, Third Impact will really begin: sharing photos from my harddrive and web and video and news when it comes down the pipe. Once Third Impact is up to date and running smoothly the post rate may slow down, at least until I find other contributors.
And is that mini-Sachiel hiding behind an SD Shinji?
Ever since … a long time ago, I’ve been a nutty Evangelion fanatic. Odds are, it’s because it was the first anime series I saw that was deeper than balls. When I write balls, I mean Dragon Balls and Poke Balls.
The show is brilliant, and it sits in that nostalgic area of my brain. See, those two things are the key ingredients of fanaticism (the latter being the most potent).
Recently there’s been a whole lot of Evangelion news circulating the interwebs (Rebuild of Evangelion Movies) and I’ve been itching to cover every significant and insignificant news bit. Over at my main blog, The Grey Line, I write on the big news breaks (e.g., release dates; reviews). But small items like new Evangelion themed key chains or a drawing of Asuka getting fucked by a cyclops just don’t mesh well with the site and its readers.
You understand now, right? This is why I created the Third Impact Tumblr blog, to have an outlet for my Eva frenzies!
It should be noted, though, that I may occasionally post items not related to Evangelion. It’ll always be anime/manga related. And in the future, if Eva news ever dies down, Third Impact will become a hentai/anime blog with an Eva aesthetic. Also, (Edit: nvm, Third Impact will only contain content relevant to Evangelion) this is a side project so they’ll likely be days without updates, at least until I bring in other contributors.
Eva/anime junkies, I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I will!
